8(a) STARS II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)

The federal government can buy cost-effective, innovative solutions for information technology (IT) requirements through Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs). The 8(a) STARS II GWAC offers access to highly qualified, certified 8(a) small disadvantaged businesses. The contract has a $10 billion program ceiling with a five-year base period and one five-year option.

8(a) Business Development Program

The 8(a) Business Development Program is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. The 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The 8(a) allows for sole sourced contracts up to four million dollars.
